Mr. Shawn S. Joseph is a former Primary U.S. Patent Examiner, who accumulated nearly a decade of experience at the United States Patent & Trademark Office from 2011 to 2019. At the USPTO, Mr. Joseph gained full signatory authority to allow or deny technology patent applications, presented Examiner's Answers representing the USPTO before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and more.
After the USPTO, Mr. Joseph graduated to become Chief Intellectual Property Officer of a cryptocurrency software company (transacting billions of dollars) from 2019 to 2022, where he architected and managed an international IP portfolio from the ground up.
It should come as no surprise that Mr. Joseph is, himself, a patent holder of numerous U.S. technology patents. As a pro se inventor, Mr. Joseph has litigated his own cases all the way through the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit multiple times.
